After months of hard work with the rest of the organizing committee, we finally hosted the first ever TEDxConcordia (independently organized TED conference at Concordia University) on Saturday February 19th. Judging from the mood & energy at the venue, as well as from attendee feedback, the event was a true success! The conference featured 14 speakers from all walks of life. Crowd favorites included Lenny Rachitsky (founder of Local Mind), Mitch Joel (President of Twist Image), Tara Hunt (founder of Shwowp & author of The Whuffie Factor) and Nomadic Massive (a Montreal based Hip-Hop collective). All the talks will be available on the TEDxConcordia website in the coming weeks. I encourage you to check them out if you weren't able to make it or if you're experiencing some TEDxConcordia deprival symptoms! Thanks to all the speakers, sponsors, volunteers, attendees as well as to my fellows on the organizing committee for making this event a true success!
